6/07/04 Found Ukrainian Angels web site.

6/08/04 Contacted Cathy Harris for more information.

6/11/04 Decided to pursue adopting independently from Ukraine with the assistance of Cathy Harris and Ukrainian Angels.

6/14/04 Contacted Tom Thomas for information on home study.

6/24/04 Hired Tom and began our home study.

6/29/04 Had Ukrainian Angels agreement notarized. Mailed agreement along with first payment of $500.00 to Cathy Harris.

6/30/04 Went to Austin TX to get fingerprinted for the state wide clearnace for our home study. Should get this back via US postal mail with in the next few days.

6/30/04 While in Austin getting fingerprinted we got a call on my cell phone from Tom that our home study would be to us by Firday 7/02/04!! Yippy that was fast! Hopefully it is all correct so we can send in the I-1600A form into INS the week of 7/05/04.

7/02/04 Met with Tom to get copy of home study to look over & make sure everything is correct.

7/02/04 Emailed Cathy Harris to see if she can look over & make sure everything is correct.

7/03/04 Faxed home study to Cathy.

7/05/04 Received email from Cathy stating a lot is wrong with home study. Needs to be corrected.

7/06/04 Faxed corrections over to Tom to correct home study.

7/07/04 Found out I am pregnant today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow......very very very big suprise!! Looks like the Ukrainian adoption is on hold for now. Although we do want to one day.

7/16/04 Have been very sick lately.

7/22/04 Went to first Dr. appointment today. Had an ultrasound done and got to see the heart beat on the screen!

7/30/04 Have really really been sick!! It is not morning sickness it is more like ALL DAY sickness!! I will be so glad when these hormones take a break!!

8/8/04 Have been feeling much much better lately!! Yippy! I still feel kind of sick in the evenings, but for the most part I feel a lot better. Thank you Lord!!

9/21/04 Well I am about 4 months along now and am feeling the best I have so far. We rented a doppler so we can hear the little ones heart beat at home. We listen just about every day and can tell it is getting stronger and stronger! We should find out the sex at the end of October...about 5 more weeks! I can't wait. Josh and I both feel it will be a baby boy. But......we will have to wait and see!!

10/19/04 Things are still going good for us and the baby. I am 19.5 weeks right now and go on 10/27 with Josh and Mom to see if we are having a boy or girl. I just KNOW it will be a boy. We will see if I am right!! I will update after we find out.

11/11/04 Well.......its a boy!!!!!! Yippy!!! I was sure hoping for a little boy! We saw him moving around and even saw him scratching his face with his little hands and fingers. It is amazing to see let me tell you! His name will be Tyler Champion Hadden or "Champ". Champion is a family name on Josh's side. We are so excited about him!!
